NORWICH DONS CHESS CLUB

The chess season is in full swing and Halloween is out of the way, so next up is the festive season which once again will include the Norwich Dons Christmas Allegro (formally known as The Toll Trophy). It combines rated, rapidplay chess with a lot of Christmas spirit - and the 6 rounds of 30 minutes each on the clock are taken very seriously by players wearing Christmas attire! As well as the now historic Toll Trophy, there are prizes for good - and not so good! - chess.

 

This year we have been unable to get a fish and chip delivery, so you're welcome to bring your own lunch. We also hope to have an "on the day" option to order pizza from the local Papa Johns.  

 

The bar will be open between 11.30am and 2.30pm, and - when it isn't - tea and coffee will be available. Only £7 for early entries!
